Hallow's eve, is also known as the Witch's New Year and therefore a fresh start for all of us! This is the perfect time to connect and celebrate our true self!

Thankfully the energy of Hallow's Eve doesn't just last for 1 day, it last for a whole week from 31st October - 6th November.  Many cultures from all around the world have different traditions around this time. I have been lucky enough to take part in the Día de los Muertos celebrations in Mexico, also known as The day of the dead festival. The Mexicans use this powerful week to celebrate all their loved ones and ancestors that came before them, and who blessed them with knowledge, love and ritualistic practice. You see photos, candles, flowers, and offerings all around the streets to show their love to those who have passed over.

In tribute to this incredible tradition, I have created a ritual to guide you in connecting with yourself and your roots!

By remembering your loved ones and ancestors, you are honouring yourself!  Remembering a long line of family history, traditions and heritage that should never be forgotten.

Join me on Friday 3rd November as we remember where we have come from, and where we are going.

The basic you need for the ceremony: * More bits to be added!

• Make  sure your space is clean and tidy, and you have enough room to create a casting circle.

• A  laptop or phone to join the gathering.

• A pillow to sit on - make sure you are comfy!

• Something to cleanse your space with, such as palo santo or sage

• Candles

• Pen & Paper

• Tarot or oracle cards - Optional

• Small bunch of flowers of your choice

• Photos of loved ones who has passed and/or Memorabilia of  loved ones who have passed

• Any crystals you may have, preferably 1 grounding and 1 connection crystal. If  you don't have any crystals, you can use a rock that you have foraged.

• Pumpkins and pomegranates to help draw in the energy of this time of year -   Optional

• Any food or items linked to your ancestral lineage - Options

• Your voice!

• Above all, an open heart!
