WATER & RELEASE CEREMONY

Pisces Lunar Eclipse Full Moon Ritual

Best Time to Do It:

The evening of 6th - 8th September, ideally within 24 hours of the Full Moon (exact on Sept 7).

Set aside 45–60 minutes

 

 

Prepare Your Space

  1. Choose a quiet, private space where you won’t be disturbed. A bathroom (for a bath) or altar space with a bowl of water works perfectly.

  2. Gather ritual items:

    • Sea salt (or Himalayan/pink salt)

    • Bowl of water or a bathtub

    • Pen & paper

    • Candle (white, blue, or lavender are ideal)

    • Crystals (optional): Moonstone, Amethyst, Aquamarine, or Rose Quartz

    • Calming music or soundscape (optional)

    • Lighter or matches

    • Essential oils or herbs for the bath (e.g. lavender, mugwort, eucalyptus)

 

Ground & Set Intention 

  1. Sit comfortably before getting into the bath.

  2. Light your candle and take 5 slow, deep breaths.

  3. Say aloud or silently:

    “Under this Full Moon and eclipse, I open myself to release, renewal, and healing. May the waters carry away all that no longer serves me.”

  4. Imagine your feet rooted into the earth, and visualise moonlight bathing your body in soft silver light.

 

Write & Reflect

  1. On your paper, write down:

    • What you are ready to release (old patterns, beliefs, regrets, emotional wounds)

    • Who or what you are ready to forgive (yourself or others)

    • Any habits or fears you’re ready to surrender to the divine flow

  2. Allow your words to come from the heart—don’t overthink.


Water Ritual 

Option A: Sea Salt Bath

  1. Fill your bathtub with warm water. Add a generous handful of sea salt (or Himalayan salt).

  2. Add a few drops of essential oil (e.g. lavender or eucalyptus).

  3. As you step in, say:

    “As I enter these waters, I release the past. I cleanse not only my body, but my soul.”

  4. Soak in silence or soft music. Imagine any stuck energy dissolving and being absorbed by the water.

Option B: Bowl of Water Ritual (if no bath)

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water and add salt.

  2. Dip your feet in and gently wash your legs and hands as a symbolic cleansing.

  3. As you do, say:

    “With this water, I clear away all that no longer serves. I make space for healing and compassion.”

 

Release & Let Go 

  1. Gently read your list out loud. Acknowledge each item as something you are releasing with love.

  2. Tear the paper and:

    • Option A: Burn the pieces safely in a fire-safe bowl or dish.

    • Option B: Submerge and dissolve them in the water (if using water-soluble paper or if safe to discard after).

  3. As you do, repeat:

    “I release. I surrender. I trust in the flow.”


Close with Compassion 

  1. Sit quietly. Place one hand on your heart, the other on your belly.

  2. Repeat this affirmation or prayer:

    “I forgive. I am free. I allow love and compassion to guide my path.”

  3. Blow out your candle and thank the Moon, the water, and your spirit for witnessing your release.
